Help with dog walking classes
Walk in the Park Program
Walking with your dog shouldn't be a struggle!  It should be a joy.  Then why is it so hard?  Because we have different ideas of what a “good walk” is with your dog.  My Walk in the Park Program is a series of classes that will show you how to walk your dog and then continue to practice on a weekly basis.  They are taught at parks and public spaces in and around Arvada, Wheat Ridge, and Westminster.

Walking 1
This is the beginning class where everyone starts.  In this class we will cover the proper equipment for walking, polite car manners when arriving at the location, and all aspects of polite leash walking which includes walking politely, walking past dogs and wildlife, polite greetings with dogs and people, and waiting patiently when you are stopped or talking with someone.  5 week class, 50 minutes each week, $175

Walking 2
Prerequisite:  Walking 1
In this class we will continue working on known skills while increasing the distraction levels and difficulty with harder parks. When Jennifer feels you are ready she will graduate you into the Walking Club.
5 week class, 50 minutes each week, $175

Namastay Walking Club
Prerequisite:  Walking 2 and Trainer approval
The Namastay Walking Club is an accountability group to help you continue to improve your walking skills.  We rotate between busy public places and quieter parks.  As this is a free class Jennifer will be available for questions but will be walking her own dogs and will not be in a trainer role.

Rally for Fun Level 1 - Intro
Rally obedience continues to grow in popularity because of its upbeat style of working and interacting with the dog. Rally focuses on the relationship the handler has with the dog and the teamwork that is displayed as they make their way through a course of designated stations with the dog in heel position. The course consists of 10 to 20 signs that instructs the team what to do.  This class is NOT for serious competitors but rather for guardians who are looking for a new challenge, a new way to work with their dog and enhance their relationship.
This class is for friendly, quiet and non-aggressive dogs. Class is limited to 5 dogs. 5 week class, 50 minutes each week, $175.

Rockin' Recall & Solid Stays
This class covers two of the main skills many dogs owners struggle to teach their dogs.  We will cover the ins and outs of coming when called and teaching solid stays.  You will learn why your dog doesn't come when you call and how to fix it.  We will cover everyday and emergency recalls. You will also learn how to teach your dog to stay even with distractions.  If you have ever dreamed of a dog coming every time you call or a dog staying amid distractions this class is for you! This class is taught in a safe enclosed large area.  Included with your registration is a 33ft leash to keep.  This class is for friendly, quiet and non-aggressive dogs.
